Well, aside from Uni work, rowing and design work something else has been taking me away from this blog…
And many of you guessed it right. It is the beautiful Miss Ashleigh Bennett.Sad, I know… long time coming, yes… happy, you bet ya!
But I have learned a lot over the last couple of months particularly. Some of which I will share later, a lot of which I will not share at all (well maybe in person). What I will share though, is the ways which we have managed to have a great time and it be slightly creative, not costing an arm and a leg.
- Lunch @ the beach
- Picnics @ the lake
- Ferry rides to
- the city
- central coast
- Jazz cafe’s
- Doing things mid-week
- Being in the right place at the right time (we saw fireworks on the ferry from the city)
- Spending time ‘just being’
- Talking about your dreams
- Long walks
- Gelato! (or sorbet)
Well, thats my thoughts for now, not a very deep post for the subjec, but I am not going to go into the details of my relationships online!
This photo is from last night at narrabeen beach.
mmm, great times…
What do you guys do for inexpensive, yet somewhat creative dates?

ummm… howie and i have no money, so we MUST do cheap dates. we did lots of driving to places – petrol isn’t cheap, but driving is fun! we often buy dinner from coles and go somewhere fun to eat it.
i’m sure there are many things that i just can’t think of.
but cheap dates are good things.
Another great thing is old cd players with D size rechargable batteries (when portable was IN).
When I am healed of two-left-feet-itus it should come into use to with dinner & a dance @ random locations
